| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli DETAILS: Five confirmation samples from SRC-AA on 12/18/12 positive for Ecoli. The boil water notice stands until further notice. I met with Pastor Ron Allen and Juan Idrogo on site today. They are going to shock chlorinated the system. WE discussed maintaining a chlorine residual in the distribution system presently the chlorine level is at 0.05ppm. I advised that it be increased to 0.5 ppm at least for now and until a minimum is prescribed by the state. I sent a source evaluation request in the OHA Springfield. 2/8/13 In consultation with Karen Kelley, Pastor Ron Allens concerns regarding the possibility of a backflow event/contamination along with questions about whether or not neighboring wells were contaminated have been addressed. The source evaluation if dings require well reconstruction and MPA sampling: this has been communicated to system in writing. ACTION NEEDED: MPA sampling and well reconstruction | ||
