| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to customer complaint DETAILS: Diane called as a customer of Oak Grove WC to express disatisfaction with the progress being made to address the violations resulting in the ongoing boil water notice, and asked what DWS could do, and specifically if we could force Ice Fountain to incorporate the system. I explained our role to review plans for conformance with standards and to support Hood River County to address the violations and return the system to compliance as soon as possible, but that the water system will engineer the solution to the problem, and that DWS cannot force the incorporation. I indicated that the County had referred the system to DWS for formal enforcement, and that DWS is drafting documentation which would include a schedule and dates to return to compliance. I encouraged her to contact the operator, but she has been unable to reach him. ACTION NEEDED: I explained that she is free to contact me with further concerns and that there may be specific formal documentation in the near future between DWS and the system including dates and deliverables to return system to compliance, which could be shared with the public. | ||
