| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to E. coli sample result (initial) DETAILS: System collected their monthly distribution sample on 5/14/13 from the Spring 3 section in the distribution system. The sample tested E. coli positive. I spoke with Ellen about the positive result and the follow up samples. Due to the E. coli result, the system has 24 hours (after notification from the lab) to get the 3 repeat and 1 triggered source sample in to the lab. Because the E. coli has not been confirmed, it is up to the water system if they wish to inform its customers or go on an early boil water notice. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 3 repeat samples and 1 triggered source sample based on the coliform sampling plan. Samples are to be into the lab on Friday 5/17/13. Results will be available on Saturday 5/18/13. Further action will be based on the results. | ||
