| Details: | SUMMARY: discontinuation of chlorination DETAILS: Jim called to talk about the system. System is a year-round system, however, severely restricted access due to snow in the winter months. A 1st quarter 2013 sample was missed for this reason. Jim was heading up to get the 2nd quarter sample collected and turned in to the lab. We discussed the chlorination system. System had been used intermittently. I explained the treatment either needed to be used 24/7 or not at all. So - we decided at this time to inactivate the chlorination and see how the samples come back. ACTION NEEDED: DWS inactivated the treatment and discontinued annual source water assessment schedule. System violation for no 1st quarter sample will return to compliance when 2nd quarter coliform sample is collected. | ||
