| Details: | SUMMARY: Jar Testing/Chemical Optimization DETAILS: The City owns & operates a Surface Water system, which supplies approximately 6,000 people through 3,600 connections. The City treats water from the Necanicum River though a dual-train, upflow clarifier and rapid-sand package treatment system. HBH was contacted by Evan Hofeld with the DWS to assist with chemical optimization through jar testing. Communicated with Evan regarding past jar testing efforts. Researched recommended jar testing methodologies and recommended chemicals for upflow clarifier plants. ACTION NEEDED: Perform jar testing with City and DWS staff. | ||
