| Details: | SUMMARY: Brown discolored water DETAILS: I received a call/complaint about water quality produced by the City of St. Paul. The caller stated that water was often dark brown with apparent sediment, and even though it didnt taste bad, most people dont want to drink the water because of the unpleasant color. The water does stain clothes however. We discussed that discoloration might be caused by iron or sediment not captured by the Citys iron filtration system. The caller stated he has talked to the City and public works staff hasnt been responsive in resolving the ongoing problem due to lack of funds. ACTION NEEDED: Complaint was referred to Marion County Health Dept. | ||
