| Details: | SUMMARY: Confirmed E coli DETAILS: Spoke to John Zalaznik at the North Central Public Health Department regarding acute MCL. John notified Rick Davis (541-478-0133) with the water system of the sample results and to prepare a boil water notice. Samples collected on June 25th confirmed E. coli in the distribution system. No repeat samples were requested due to the 4 additional samples taken the same day being total coliform positive. Source water assessment samples also collected at that time were absent. The system notified its customers of the boil water notice on June 27th. Over this coming weekend, samples will be collected to confirm the wells are absent and the reservoir/distribution system will be batch chlorinated. The system plans to install chlorine equipment in next 7-10 days. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up with county to evaluate additional sampling and disinfection of system. | ||
