| Details: | Spoke to Scott for an update on required disinfection. He stated that he will be meeting with Hillsboro Pump this week to discuss a plan for installing the chlorination. They had been getting some push back from residents and the residents are considering drafting a complaint letter to the state. Scott, the operator, is not a resident. He is an employee of the nursery and will continue to give our department updates as the installation process finally moves forward. Scott also informed me that he spoke with a former operator who stated that he also had coliform issues with the spring, but as long as they cleaned out the tank and piping at the spring on a regular basis it would turn out clean samples. Scott had stated that they did not clean tank at regular intervals and never cleaned piping at spring. He is considering replacing piping at spring to get a fresh start up there. | ||
