| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Talked with Mrs.Maurer since Tom Maurer was out of town until the 10th of this month. I informed her she needed to take a total of 4 repeats and 1 triggered sample. The 4 repeats are to be taken at the positive site, one upstream, one downstream, one at any location in the distribution, and one at the source with no treatment. With the holiday I said the samples could be turned in on Monday. She said she didn’t have any bottles, and she said she may or may not send the samples in on Monday depending how busy she is. She also said she only wanted to send one or maybe two samples in because it was too expensive to take 5-repeats and she didn’t think that many samples were needed. She said she juggled the container when she was taking the sample and almost dropped the container, that may have caused the contamination. Either way I made it clear the 5 samples needed to be sent in on Monday, and another 5 temporary routines would be needed the following month. She didnt seem inclinded to do what I said needed to be done for this positive. ACTION NEEDED: Wait and see if she sends samples in and if she does, wait for results. | ||
