| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for arsenic result of 0.0126 mg/l from sample collected 6/19/13. Running annual average is 0.11 mg/l, so the system will receive an MCL violation for the second quarter. Spoke with new city manager Lynn Findley. This sample was collected shortly after a caustic wash was peformed on the media. Advised Lynn that a bilateral compliance agreement would likely need to be put in place in the near future. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to distribute public notice, send dated copy to DWS, investigate options for upgrading or replacing the existing treatment system. | ||
