| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine monthly coliform sample taken 1/30/2013 was marked Assessment sample by mistake. DETAILS: Jim Chambers called today and said that the January 30, 2013 sample was marked AS=source water assessment when actually it was a routine sample. Consequently the system has a violation for no routine sample in the first quarter of 2013.Apparently the person who sample missed marked the sample.This is an odd system. Water from the well is chlorinated as it is pumped into the holding tank. Then as it flows from the tank to use it is run through a charcoal filter to take the chlorine out. Once a year they spike the chlorine and run water through the distribution lines. This sample taken on January 30th was of water after it went though the charcoal filter going to the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: See file | ||
