| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform + DETAILS: This is a non-EPA system that got a TC+ in their distribution. I talked with the granson of Mark Sterner. I informed him they needed to take a total of 5 re-peat samples, 1 at the location of the positive, one upstream of that, one downstream of that, one random sample and one at the source. The first 4 samples are to be labeled re-peats and the chlorine residual is to be recorded on sample. The 5th repeat is to be marked as triggered and to be unchlorinated. I told him not to shock the well with chlorine until we got the results from the samples back. I said to take these tomorrow and send them in. I also went over sampling protocol and prevention of contamination when taking the samples. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for the re-peat results. | ||
