| Details: | SUMMARY: Operator informed us of a main break, no loss of pressure DETAILS: Operator called to let us know system experienced a main break between well 3 and chlorination. Repairs were made and system is back on line 6/5/13. I asked operator to shock chlorinate the section of pipe that was being repaired and she contacted the service people and there was no way to do it. I asked she check chlorine levels in various portions of the distribution to assure good residuals could be verified. Try to flush the repaired site and to pull bacteriological as soon as practical to make sure the water was safe to consume. She did notify employees of the water issues and asked they do not consume it. Water from well #3 goes directly to the reservoir for good contact time then into the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: Operator to inform of the results of the sample | ||
