| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform violation DETAILS: We contacted Diane today to discuss the recent violation for failure to collect an assessment coliform from the well source. After further review of the system files it was determined this system has not been serving water to the public since May. They are only sending water to the toilets for flushing. Hand washing lavatories no longer have water. Further we reviewed the sample taken on June 18th, 2013 the operator reported this was taken from the raw water sample tap and had only been mislabeled as a routine sample rather than an assessment sample. For this reason as well, we should remove the violation from their record. At present the system is working toward drilling a new ell source in the near future. ACTION NEEDED: None The operator requested the system be temporarily deactivated to avoid future violations. | ||
