| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on routine coliform positive 7/17 DETAILS: I was notified on 8/2 of a routine total coliform positive (E. coli absent) routine taken on 7/17. Lab did not fax paperwork for TC+ to DWS within 24 hours as required, according to DWPs data management group. DWPs data group spoke to lab and discussed that all positives need to be reported to DWP within 24 hours. City had taken required 3 repeat samples on 7/18 - all returned coliform absent with a good chlorine residual. I notified Neal of late lab reporting on 8/6. Neal indicated on 8/7 that the emergency Bayport well was not in use at the time of the positive, so no triggered source sample required. ACTION NEEDED: No further specific action needed at this time. City to continue regular routine coliform sampling as per coliform sampling plan. | ||
