| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City of Silverton owns & operates a SW system that provides water to 9,540 people through 3,500 connections. Water from Abiqua & Silver Creek is treated by a conventional water treatment plant prior to disinfection with sodium hypochloride. The CR was contacted by Steve Starner to provide assistance with a CT study to determine the amount of contact time in the reservoirs before the first user. The tracer testing is complicated by the current lack of a delivery meter following the contact reservoir. Data collection was completed under the previous Circuit Rider Contract in 2011. This is a continuation of that effort. Composed draft report & met with City of Silverton operational staff for additional clarifications on operational issues. ACTION NEEDED: Complete test report. | ||
