| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrates DETAILS: The Hat Rock Water Company owns & operates a spring fed water system which supplies a population of approximately 75 through 38 connections. Circuit Rider was contacted by Bill Goss (DWS) regarding high nitrate levels in the spring water. Spoke with Wayne Condit regarding possible treatment options for nitrate removal as well as possible source water control. Mr. Condit indicated interest in Point of Use treatment. A check with Bill Goss confirmed that this is not an approved option for the water system. ACTION NEEDED: Assist CWS further if requested. | ||
