| Details: | SUMMARY: ALERT: Total Coliform, Distribution DETAILS: Sheldon Price contacted our office mid-day today to discuss and inform us of a positive test result for ‘total coliform’ bacteria in their water system distribution. Sheldon requested technical assistance regarding the proper follow-up sampling procedure.The sample was collected on 8/20/13, no E-Coli was present. ACTION NEEDED: We directed Sheldon to:- Collect 3 repeat samples: - One at site of original positive test-- - One upstream-- and - One downstream--- The collect two assessment samples (one at each source well)--- Finally, during the next calendar month, collect five ‘temporary routine’ samples following your coliform sampling plan. | ||
