| Details: | SUMMARY: TC+ repeat at same sample tap. DETAILS: While this second TC+ at the original sample station is enough evidence to invalidate the sample tap and move on, Sunrise did a second round of repeats as well as re-examined their sampling protocols & stations. In so doing, they determined a possible culprit in their summer mystery TC+s. In a sample station there are 2 lines - a sample line and a drain line for winterizing the station. Their drain lines have perhaps never been flushed. They opened both lines for all their second-round-repeats. All these results came back TC-. ACTION NEEDED: Sunrise WA will likely change their coliform sampling protocol to flush both lines either every time or at least more frequently. |
