| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on Aug 2013 toluene detect DETAILS: Discussed 8/7/13 toluene detect of 0.0006 mg/L (MCL is 1 mg/L, detection limit is 0.0005 mg/L). System already collected 4 quarters of toluene over 2010-2011 period for similar detect. Since detect is in range with earlier detects, system has already demonstrated level of toluene is reliably & consistently below MCL, so continue monitoring toluene with ongoing annual VOC monitoring, and quarterly toluene testing not needed at this time. Operator noted that letters have been sent out earlier to homeowners in watershed regarding household hazardous waste recycling for home heating (propone tanks) that may be a cause of the toluene. ACTION NEEDED: No action at this time. Continue monitoring toluene yearly with VOC analysis. | ||
