| Details: | SUMMARY: Contact Tracer Study Evaluation DETAILS: The OPRD owns & operates a SW system which supplies drinking water to Detroit Lake & Mongold State Parks. The WTP treats water from Tumble Creek through a package coagulation/flocculation/settling & rapid-sand filtration treatment system. Circuit Rider was contacted by Dan Faulkner following a sanitary survey about providing assistance with the chemical feed system and potentially other items. Dan Faulkner requested specific assistance with determining the impacts of moving the chlorine contact time compliance point from the shop area to the water treatment plant. Reviewed the Contact Tracer Study. Performed calculations on the contact time in the transmission main. Verified that the system would have adequate CT values using a shorter contact time. ACTION NEEDED: Assist Parks personnel with chemical dosing calculations as well as chemical feed pump calibration. | ||
