| Details: | SUMMARY: Corrosion Control/Aeration Investigation DETAILS: The Lakeshore Mobile Estates own & operate a ground water system that provides water to approximately 75 people through 43 connections. The Circuit Rider was originally contacted by the water system to provide assistance with Copper Level Exceedence & associated corrosion control. As a result of this contact, the system installed a caustic soda corrosion control system. The Circuit Rider was subsequently contacted by Jay MacPherson of the DWS with the request that aeration be further considered. Performed aeration testing at the well site, which revealed an increase in pH over time, thus indicating that CO2 is likely responsible for a portion of the waters acidity. ACTION NEEDED: Further investigate viability of aeration in lieu of caustic addition as requested by Water System. | ||
