| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to localized no pressure boil water DETAILS: Jim notified me on 9/5 that Corbett had a small leak in the area of Bell Road near Hurlburdt on 9/4. Two individuals called that they were out of water. System gate valve was shut off to ensure loss of pressure was localized. Roughly 30 affected connections on Christensen and Hinkley Roads were contacted as they were affected by the loss in positive pressure. System followed DWS Best Management Practices for responding to low pressure events. System restored pressure and repaired area of system, noted free chlorine residual had increased, and two coliform bacteria samples returned coliform absent at 7 pm on 9/5. Thus the boil water notice in affected area was lifted. ACTION NEEDED: No action at this time. DWS to support District in responding to or preventing low or no pressure events in distribution system. | ||
