Kellys has several handwashing stations for food prep and an espresso stand. The coffee stand was to close, while alternatives were sought for handwashing for food prep.

The original thought in late August was that this was simply due to chlorine chemical tank running dry, however, that did not solve the problem.

As seen online here the well is poorly constructed next to contamination sources in a sensitive aquifer. So while the well has not generated any E. colis, it is hoped the renewed monthly Assesment requirement will determine the wells health. ACTION NEEDED: Kellys must do the following:

1. Due to the recent temp. repeat E. colis, they need to take another Triggered sample at the wellhead.
2. We need to put them back onto monthly sourcewater Assessment samples at the well (Pete will change their schedule online, Steve/Kent will tell WS.)
3. We need to figure out a way today to either
a. superchlorinate the distribution system with high chlorine - 10 ppm for one hour, or
b. put Kellys on an interim 4-log disinfection plan, or
c. both.
4. Assure significant deficiencies from WSS (w/ previous owner) was followed up on:
a. coliform sampling plan, and
b. use DPD-type test kit to test for chlorine.
