| Details: | SUMMARY: E-coli confirmed hand pump at campground DETAILS: Spoke with Karl, the confirmation samples came back with one sample positive for coliform on the confirmation samples taken on the e.coli positive RT sample. This confirms e.coli in the source. The campground has been closed since 9/9/13. A tier 1 boil water public notice was sent to Karl via e-mail. Karl will fill it out and send back to me for review, then he will distribute at campground even through the camp ground is closed. ACTION NEEDED: Fill out public notice template send to me for review, post public notice and work with USFS engineer to determine what corrective action they are going to take on the source at the campground. I have been in contact with the system regarding the water quality issues at the site, this is a PNC site due to coliform, e.coli and the fact that the site is seasonal and closes early every year. | ||
