| Details: | SUMMARY: 2 of 5 temporary routines are positive for TC DETAILS: Discussed with Jon the ongoing saga. Seal around plunger shaft on pump handle is not very tight. Birds defecate and it falls on and around hand pump. Discussed looking to another, newer model of hand pump that might better exclude contaminants. Discussed method, practices used when taking samples. Discussed the shocking and flushing of the well-- also building a cover over pump area that would exclude birds. Reviewed disinfection of spout before taking sample. ACTION NEEDED: Renew Tier 2 public notice, submit copy to state, post at park, and work on methods of improving sanitation around well. Rule requires 5 more temp routines next month. | ||
