| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: spoke to Mr. Adler by phone and he stated that during the previous week the well had went out and had to be replaced with a new well. The new well was placed 35 feet below the old well in the casing. I made Mr. Adler aware that in instances of well replacement it was common and even advisable to shock chlorinate the well due to the disturbed sediment created by replacing the well. He stated that he would call the pump service have them shock chlorinate the well and retake the sample once the process was complete. I advised Mr., Adler to make sure that all chlorine was flushed out before taking the repeats. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up is predicated on results from resample | ||
