| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 7/23/13 positive coliform. Their 4 repeats from Aug 8th were also positive. These four sample were late due to Jean being in the hospital. The 5 routine samples from Aug 27th were also positive. They also took a sample from the source on 8/28/13 and that source sample was negative. Jean has issued two public notices about their sample. She has sent them into the state. They are shocking the cistern today and will let it sit for 6-8 hours with a 12.5% solution. Once it is flushed they will take 5 more repeat samples throughout the system. They have by mid September to shock and sample. We think the cisterns liner might be compromised. Crook County will visit the cistern for a visual. The July 17th, 2012 survey didnt show any significant deficiencies with the cistern. ACTION NEEDED: Will respond once the five samples are taken by mid September. | ||
