| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Phoned Mr. Lau and he report submitting 5 samples earlier in the day. I outlined for him the current requirement including source sampling and then followed up via email as follows: The current follow up sampling requirement when routine sample show presence of coliform include within 24 hours. Collect a sample from the wellhead and mark the lab slip as a triggered source and collect 3 additional samples from somewhere you office building one of which should be from the same tap as last weeks sample and mark the lab slips to show these are repeat samples. This means 4 samples are needed but one of them is to be from the wellhead which is due. In addition , 4 samples in August5 samples are due to be taken from anywhere in your office building. If a problem exists that caused the bad sample , it will be confirmed in the samples you collected and submitted today and then the problem can be addressed. The problem should be fixed before drawing nest months five samples, otherwise sample will be self perpetuating ACTION NEEDED: 1 source sample ASAP and 5 routine samples in August | ||
