Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on sewage spill - Pudding River at Mt Angel DETAILS: Allen (PH Duty Officer) notified me at 10 am on 9/30 that an unknown amount of sewage overflowed from the City of Mt Angel waste water plant into the Pudding River due to the grinder not working properly at the plant due to a power outage. Event occurred sometime Sunday, early Monday - OERS #2013-2016. After reviewing DWS Emergency Spill maps and discussing with Clackamas County DWS technical staff contact it was determined that the Pudding River (which flows north across the Marion Co/Clackamas County line and then into the Molalla River and then into the Willamette does not impact any public systems with surface water intakes. Canbys intake is on the Molalla upstream of confluence with Pudding, and Wilsonvilles intake is on the Willamette, upstream of confluence of Molala & Willamette. No intakes on lower Willamette downstream that would be impacted. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. |
