| Details: | SUMMARY: Sent Failure to Address Significant Deficiencies Letter (post survey) DETAILS: In the water system survey cover letter of 2/26/13, USFS Silver Lake Ranger Station was given a 120-day deadline (July 30, 2013) to address all the significant deficiencies identified in the 11/1/12 survey. I sent Yogi a couple email reminders when the July deadline was approaching. In late August, I asked for an update. I received a voice message that the wellhead had been sealed, but not all of the deficiencies had been addressed. I told Yogi I would send him another letter spelling out how to avoid formal enforcement, and he would need to post a Tier 2 Public Notice at this point for all water consumers at the Ranger Station. Today I sent that letter, giving him one month to address the deficiencies (new deadline = October 31, 2013). ACTION NEEDED: Draft an approximation of what this Tier 2 Public Notice should look like when filled in, and email it to Yogi. Await response to informal enforcement letter. | ||
