| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Alert for Repeat Samples DETAILS: System received a notice of repeat and TG samples positive for TC, but absent for E. Coli. Called Merlin again, they already had plans in place to shock chlorinate the system and would begin implementing it that night. He also stated they were going to speak with each household on the system and inform them of the situation. As a follow-up, I called Merlin again morning of 9/27, the system had been shock chlorinated and they had just finished flushing the system. he also repeated he had notified every single user of the system by telephone about the on-going situation. I stated we still needed to issue a PN, and he will get a copy distributed over the weekend.I also instructed him to have the lab come out on 10/1 to pull 5 more routine samples to see if the chlornation worked or not. ACTION NEEDED: take 5 routine samples in February. | ||
