Details: SUMMARY: Well Maintenance Issues DETAILS: The Bly Water District provides water to 500 people (135 connections) in the City of Bly. The water system has a primary well which has experienced a reduction in production from 700 gpm to 300 gpm. The well pump was also heating up. Investigations by the well drilling company revealed that the well casing appears to be crooked. Worked on potential methods for emergency water supply & reviewed well rehabilitation options. ACTION NEEDED: Provide recommendations for the rehabilitation or replacement of the well. Look at potential funding options for the district.
