| Details: | SUMMARY: MCL violation for October 2013 DETAILS: Marleene is the new administrative contact for the water system. System has chlorination but it had gone down with the large wind storm that had gone through the area. System had not been checking chlorine residual to notice the chlorination pump was not working. A new pump has been ordered and should be here anyday. System contracts with Kuo to collect water samples. 4 repeat/source samples were collected (an additional one will be collected ASAP) on 10/10. All were total coliform positive. Also spoke with Marleene about the significant deficiencies that had not been corrected from the previous survey. I will be resending information to assist the system with these corrections. ACTION NEEDED: KUO to take 5th repeat sample ASAP. DWS to send system information on: public notice (Oct MCL vio), O&M, ERP, CCR. System to get chlorination in working order and start monitoring at least twice a week (and record). 5 routine samples are due in November. | ||
