| Details: | SUMMARY: MCL violation for October DETAILS: System had an initial total coliform positive sample on 10/3/13. It followed up with 3 repeat samples and 1 triggered source sample on 10/8/13. Three out of 4 of these samples was total coliform positive. In speaking with Doug, there was no indication on the possible source of the bacteria. The system has some history of MCL violations in 2010. System will take some corrective action and will do the public notice as required. ACTION NEEDED: System to take corrective action and post public notice within 30 days. Notice is to stay posted for a minimum of 7 days even if the situation is corrected. Owner to send copy of public notice to DWS for file. System to take 5 routine samples in November. If all clear, then back to regular quarterly schedule starting in 2014. | ||
