Details: SUMMARY: Responded to Nitrate Alert over 1/2 the MCL DETAILS: Nitrate level was 5.8 ppm. I explained to the new system operator that the nitrate level was over 1/2 the MCL and let him know treatment would be required if and when the nitrates reached 10 ppm. ACTION NEEDED: None.
