| Details: | SUMMARY: site visit for positive samples DETAILS: Met Tammy and Butch Rogers on site to look at reservoir following 5 TC+ temp routines. Reviewed sample results and 10/30 triggered source sample was ABSENT not present as earlier believed. Butch found a wasps nest and evidence of rodents inside hatch lid as well as several cracks in reservoir, one of which is on the top on the south side. He added chlorine on the 5th. ACTION NEEDED: Repair cracks in reservoir and improve/install a gasket on the shoebox lid to preclude contaminants. After fix, chlorinate again to approx 2-5 ppm. Ensure chlorine is out of system before taking additional samples. Take 5 temporary routine samples during the month of November. Suggest using some of the temp routine samples to verify correction before taking all 5. Keep up public notice until all samples show absent. | ||
