| Details: | Don Veenker and I spoke about the rotation schedule for the 4 wells that serve the system. He switches to the next well every month, so the previous well isn't used for the next 4 months. He wanted to ensure we wasn't missing a rule on well exercise. I noted that sampling of any coliforms or chemicals have all been looking good, so the flushing of the pipes on the system appears to be working. I also told him that its been known to be good to exercise the pumps for the well as often as is healthy for the system, so its good the wells are not sitting stagnant unused for more than a year. They are recording this practice into an updated operation and maintenance plan which was my next suggestion. What they are currently doing seems to be working well, so I advised to stick with the same plan. |
