| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic 0.028 DETAILS: David contacted me because he is thinking about purchasing the apartments. He had the water tested for arsenic and the level was 0.028 and he wanted to find out what he would be required to do. I explained that that the system is a state system and they were only required to check the arsenic level one time and they did so back in 1991. At that time the MCL was 0.050 and their level was 0.018. The current MCL level is 0.010. David was concerned that he would need to install POU at each apartment. I explained that they would need to go through plan review for any treatment that they put on the system but that they wouldnt have to install POU. They could install treatment at the well house that would treat the entire system. He wanted to talk to someone about another treatment system he was thinking about purchasing before doing so.
