| Details: | SUMMARY: Followup - Monthly Reporting and System Deficiencies DETAILS: I spoke to Mr Gunderman about two issues. The first was the need to provide DWS with complete copies of his monthly monitoring reports - the November pages he submitted were missing complete dates and columns due to copying of the sheet. The second issue I brought up was whether Mr Gunderman had received a copy of my letter dated April 2012 [resent on 11/4/13 (first mailing address was wrong resulting in the need to resend letter)]. He indicated that he had received my letter. Mr Gunderman understood from time he spent with Kari Salis and Annette Pampush during his 2008 WSS that the water treatment was fully compliant. However, following the WSS in 2008, Mr Gunderman submitted info on his UV system to DWS in 2009. I reviewed that submittal, and discussed the filtration processes of his water system in early 2012. From the review, and discussion, I composed the letter dated 4/6/12 which notified Mr. Gunderman that the components of his treatment system do not meet current regulations, and the need to issue a Tier 2 Public Notice. Mr Gunderman feels that his system is compliant - based on his recollection of conversations with Kari and Annette. I suspect this may be a misunderstanding on his part - as it is unlikely that such a determination could not be made without completing plan review (which had not occurred). ACTION NEEDED: The system is non-compliant with current SWTR requirements. | ||
