| Details: | SUMMARY: Resolved confusion about Sept 2013 DBP Standard Monitoring samples DETAILS: In early September 2013, Id worked with Alan to prepare a DBP Standard Monitoring Plan (since it was too late for Round Lake to get a very small system waiver). However, the Sept 2013 samples in the database showed locations that did not match those we had decided upon. It turned out that my emails to Alan confirming these locations had gone to his junk folder. One of the two locations sampled represents the residential section of the distribution system (Meadowbrook), so that sample will count as SM-1. However, Alan will have to take another DBP sample in summer 2014 to represent the remaining "prong" of the distribution system - the booster station near the storage tank and RV Park. So, we have to wait a year till the warm season again to obtain an SM-2 DBP sample. Alan made sure my emails will no longer go to his junk mail folder. ACTION NEEDED: DWS staff will correct SDWIS to accept the Meadowbrook sample as SM-1. Await an SM-2 sample from the booster station to be taken in Sept 2014. | ||
