| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed public notice and water system compliance DETAILS: Doug Best called and we spoke about the actions necessary for full compliance with the DWS Notice of Non-Compliance issued on May 29, 2013. I stated that only three items remained to my knowledge: distribution of public notice and completion of an operations manual and emergency response plan for the water system. Doug said that notice is being delivered by hand today and that the operations manual is complete but that the emergency response plan is still being finished. Doug also stated that he plans to flush the lines and all the fire hydrants in January. We briefly discussed the presence of total coliform and Doug thinks it might have come from recent line breaks and apparent tampering with a capped water line. ACTION NEEDED: Doud will distribute notice as planned and complete the emergency response plan for the water system. | ||
