| Details: | SUMMARY: complaint - lack of water DETAILS: A complaint was called in to the Umatilla County Health Department regarding Papoose Woodlands Water Company. The complaintant alleged there had been no water service since 12/16/13. Calls were made to the contact for the water system and did speak with Greg Smith. He stated there had been some water service but due to severe leaks a majority of the system has been valved off while the repairs are made. I explained that the system will be on a boil water notice until there is adequate water service and bacteriological tests come back absent for bacteria. Notices were going to be distributed by the following morning. ACTION NEEDED: System to distribute boil water notices to permanent residents. System to continue on repairs. DWS will lift the boil water advisory when water service has been restored and lab tests come back absent for bacteria. | ||
