| Details: | Roberts Creek Water District recently had two disinfection byproducts results over the MCL (0.060mg/L) for HAA5. The results were 0.0754 and 0.0657 mg/L. The system is already on quarterly monitoring, so no increased monitoring is required. The system stated that the pre-chlorination in the sedimentation basin is probably the culprit for the high results. They system has now removed the pre-chlorination from the treatment process. The system still uses coagulation and settling in pre-treatment. | ||
