| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up on 1st quarter PCE detect - well #5 DETAILS: Derrick and I spoke about the 0.0018 mg/L tetrachloroethylene (PCE) detect from entry point F for wells #5 and #9. Sample taken with well #5 on-line only. Result below MCL of 0.005 mg/L. City to continue on annual monitoring at EP w well #5 on only until 3 consecutive annual non-detect results. City continues to alternate use of wells #5 and #9 (both on same entry point). Derrick and I discussed potential sources of contamination in general associated with PCE. ACTION NEEDED: City to continue PCE sampling during first quarter at entry point with only well #5 producing. DWS to continue to support City in exploring potential sources of contaminant. | ||
