Details: | SUMMARY: complaint regarding systems response to pressure loss to an area of town DETAILS: A complaint call was received by OHA this morning. The complaint alleged there was a pressure loss on a section of town that is served by a water line that is attached to the bridge. There had been no communication from the city to the affected customers. ACTION NEEDED: I called the city and confirmed there was an issue with the water line crossing on the bridge. It had frozen and developed a crack. I emailed a best management practices document and template for a boil water notice due to system pressure loss. The city did return the public notice filled out and ready to distribute with todays date. I reiterated to the city that the drinking water program needs to be informed in the event there is ever a problem with the potable water supply immediately. |
