Details: | Sue stated that a couple days prior to the TTHM sample being drawn the system was chlorine shocked due to possible line issues when a wind storm blew down a small tree. I let her know that the high TTHM level will extend the schedule for compliance with last year’s administrative order is now extended until April 2022 because four consecutive calendar quarters are required until the Order can be closed. 1/29/21: Called Sue again to get details of Cl shock prior to last DBP sample. A line break and repair in the park after a recent storm prompted the shock. Their protocol is to shock, flush outside spigots and knock on doors to tell all residents to turn on faucets to flush pipes. After speaking with Sue, I called operator Gene Ramey (541-420-3639); Gene stated he will call the lab and have a follow-up DPB sample drawn at same time the routine TC for February is drawn (Feb 10). |
