| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up for TC+ alert DETAILS: Routine coliform on 2/11 TC+ from 65456 73rd street. System also took an additional Special on the same day next door at 65417 and it was absent. A third sample was taken on 2/18 from the southern end of the system 65177 73rd and it was also absent. System has had recurring TC+ and is in process of improving cistern and installing DCVA. These samples may help pinpoint problem and it may be localized and or associated with plumbing in residences? As long as any positive results only show Total Coliforms, system will continue to take one or two samples monthly until spring when cistern is repaired and distribution sample stations installed and all samples absent. ACTION NEEDED: Keep taking monthly samples to ensure Total only (no e.coli). Keep changing sampling locations to help identify specific areas of contamination. 2 of 3 samples were absent in distribution which may indicate this is a plumbing issue within homes? Repair cracks in cistern in spring, address any possible backflow issues and install dedicated distribution sampling points(2). | ||
