| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate test in June 2013 above 50% of the MCL at 5.1 ppm DETAILS: The system submitted a nitrate sample in June 2013. The results were 5.1 ppm. I contacted the system and prepared a contact report. I informed the system to start quarterly sampling as required and informed them we would review the results after four quarters of samples had been submitted. I neglected to submit a chemical schedule change request. While conducting an inspection of the school lunch program I reviewed the nitrate testing a realized quarterly samples had not been submitted. I requested that they sample each quarter of 2014. With the results being reviewed at the end of 2014. We discussed if the system was R/C below the MCL at the end of the year we would return them to annual sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for the results of the first test results. Submit chemical schedule change request for quarterly nitrate samples to DMCE. | ||
