| Details: | SUMMARY: Copper Exceedance at Shopping Center DETAILS: I spoke to Brandi on Thursday regarding the results of the most recent lead and copper sampling. Only one copper exceedance was found during this round of sampling. Since the Rays Market has closed, the majority of the sampling locations are in the now vacant portion of the building, not representative of the water use. It is unknown when someone will be moving into the vacant area of the shopping center, but a remodel would be evident according to the property owner. The owner does not want to do plumbing replacement if the fixtures will be remodeled anyway. Due to the changes at the shopping center a review will be conducted to determine what the best option is for the shopping center. Population numbers for the current operations, which include a restaurant, coffee kiosk, real estate office, and massage therapy office show transient populations of 122 people with 17 non transient. ACTION NEEDED: Review option with the state and report back to the operator on how to proceed with compliance of the Lead and Copper Rule. | ||
